One thing I always want parents to know before they come for their newborn shoot… you really don’t need to worry about how your baby is going to be on the day. Your newborn shoot doesn’t rely on your baby sleeping the whole time, your toddler sitting perfectly still or everything going to plan. Feeds happen. Crying happens. Nappy changes happen. Sometimes we stop for baby to have a cuddle. What actually happens at a newborn session with me? Every baby is different, so I’ll always adapt the session around them and what they need, making sure there is always plenty of time for feeds & cuddles. If you’re worried they won’t settle, please don’t. My style is super relaxed so we can always make it work. It’s not just photos of your baby on their own. I’ll capture a real mix of just baby, the little details, siblings, each parent with baby and you all together as a family. Sometimes I need to be on the other side of the camera too!! Me and my two not-so-little kids 🤍 Being passionate about photos and knowing the importance of them, not only for me but for the kids too, I jumped at the chance to get a mother’s day shoot with one of my fav photographers @andthensheclicked who is based close to where I grew up. I literally look back and apart from the odd selfie I really don’t have many pics of me and the kids, so being able to relax, laugh and just enjoy the moment with them meant so much, we had such a giggle together, it’s not just a shoot its a memory and a really good one at that!
