When is the best time to book?
Newborn shoots are best taken in the first two weeks and preferably within the first 10 days. As such I would recommend booking after your 20 week scan. However, please do get in touch if you are further into your pregnancy or if you have already had your baby and I will do my best to fit you in.
For location shoots, my weekend slots get booked up very quickly so the sooner you book, the better chance you have of securing your preferred date.
How long do the sessions last?
Newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours. My shoots are always tranquil, baby led and allow plenty of time for feeding and cuddles when needed, allowing everyone to feel relaxed.
Family shoots are around 1-2 hours depending on the location.
What if I book a location shoot and it is raining?
I will communicate with you throughout the build up to your shoot to decide whether it will be possible in the conditions. If the decision is made to postpone, a new date will be arranged at the earliest possible time.
What to wear?
Neutral colours always work well, simple and comfortable. I have baby outfits and blankets for newborn studio shoots.
Do I pay a deposit?
Newborn sessions require a deposit of £99 to be paid at the time of booking, this is your session fee, packages will be additional.
